Holiday Inn Frankfurt - Alte Oper is located at Mainzer Landstraße 27, 60329 Frankfurt am Main, in Innenstadt 1, the financial district.

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is an eight-minute walk, about 500 metres, with the S-Bahn at Taunusanlage also nearby. The Main Tower is about a 10-minute walk, around 0.7 kilometres, and the Alte Oper is about a 10-minute walk. The Römerberg old town and the Kaiserdom are also nearby.

Messe Frankfurt, the convention centre, is under a 15-minute walk. The Städel Museum sits across the river Main on the Museumsufer. The Zeil and MyZeil shopping and the Palmengarten are also nearby.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is about 12 kilometres away, 15 to 20 minutes by taxi, and under 15 minutes by train from the central station. S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, and regional trains all serve the area.
